Test result from Mayo today negative for cdiff but they did only the antigen,per polycy. I do not know wath to believe.
It is over? Fitting nausia and cramps today, I have to be strong from my husband.

Lidia, that’s great. You need to view your symptoms as IBS at this point. Work on figuring out your foods that cause you the least problems. Just breathe a sigh of relief you are in the clear for now.

Great to hear the test is negative! I recall thinking my test was going to be positive with all the symptoms I was having post 3 month Dificid taper, but it was negative.
I didnt have an FMT but there are many on the site who have come and gone who get Post IBS.
There are medications for that so you may ask your GI about it. I wore "Sea Bands" for the nausea which helped me and still carry them in my purse.

They tend to do the PCR test. The nausea I had for a long time, the Sea Bands helped me alot, I would give them a try.

Lid , so happy you tested negative but sorry you are having such a rough time with recovery. If nausea is so bad why don't you ask you doctor for medication like metoclopramide for example , or try the Sea bands that Nancy suggested.

The antigen is pretty standard too. I would believe your results and try keeping a food journal and write what you eat so that you can see what foods seem to upset your GI tract.
