So it's been 1 month since my colonoscopy FMT.
My current symptoms:
- Urgency
- Going 4-5x a day
- Loose stools
- Gurgling/bubbling stomach. Feels like liquid/water splashing around. Makes sense since my stool is loose and close to D
- Gassy/bloating
Caveat:
9 days out negative GDH and Toxin
I'm pretty much 100% back to my c-diff positive symptoms. Not sure what to do about it... Wonder if this is PI-IBS, but probably won't be able to know unless I do another follow up c-diff test... It's pretty hard dealing with this.
Is it possible to have a negative GDH 7 days post FMT, but 1 month later have a positive cdiff (spores coming back alive)?

Short answer to that one is yes!
If I were you I would test again.

Re: 1 month post-FMT - Questions
Another caveat:
I was on a very low fiber diet (meat and rice) post FMT because high fiber was making me depressed. I just started back on a high fiber diet (4 bananas, pear, apple and strawberries) a day.
When I was on a low fiber diet I was constipated (soft stools, feeling the need to poop but couldn't push it out). Now that I'm on a high fiber diet I have all the symptoms from my previous post.
That being said, is this due to the high fiber diet or c-diff?
