c.diff is a loser

Postby WOWOWOW » Wed Jun 11, 2008 9:18 pm

Well I have made it to 70 days off Vanco and feel healthy again. I am back into sports and my diet is back to normal. Seems the more diverse my diet gets the stronger my insides feel! Probably re-establishing all the good guys from different foods. So all those still battling remember we are the winners and c.diff will lose!!!

Congratulations! That's great news. I'm so glad that you are feeling healthy again. Enjoy your summer!

It is always wonderful to read success stories. I don't know what I would have done without them in my early days of cdiff. Thanks for posting yours.

That's so great and I am so happy you are feeling so good for the beatiful weather. I am on day 88 off vanco today, but I am too scared to call myself a success story yet. It's great that you have that attitude I wish I did. I just have to stop stressing about it and realize if we have made it this far we are good. Enjoy being c-diff free!!!!

Thanks everyone! What finally worked for me was a Vanco taper followed by 4 weeks of Questran(seems a lot of people hate mixing and drinking that stuff, but I actually liked it plus it always made me feel much better).Had mixed feelings on probiotics other than yogurt. Maybe I just was on too many different ones.Stress always made things worse for me. Always knowing that this ends also kept me positive.I wish you all the best and thanks again for all the support.
