Wonderful News!!!!

My infant daughter who is 6 months old has been battling C. Diff for 5 months. We finished Vancomycin 18 days ago. We found out today that the stool specimen we turned in on Monday was NEGATIVE for C. Diff! This is the first time in 5 months!!! We are elated, but still going to be super cautious! What a great day!

Congratulations to you and your sweet little baby! That's great news! I surely hope that she has beaten it for good! I'm keeping all of my fingers crossed.

Congrats. Enjoy. But (a slight & probably unlikely caveat) is symptoms return, call doc.

See FAQ-Children, Inc. Infants.

Other posters (including Amy) have similar problems with their infants, but Amy also had C. diff.
