6-months today!

We spend a lot of time talking about the bad news in this discussion group - here's the spot for the good news. If you've had c-diff and are now well, please tell us about it here.

6-months today!

Postby nsewell » Tue Dec 19, 2006 2:40 pm

I guess I should post here. Today is 6-months since I last took a med for c-diff. I do take my probiotic everyday but I guess thats it. Ive also had MANY scares and do have IBS. I have to watch what I eat and if I dont I will eventually regret it. I did have to take Bactrum for an UTI. That was 6 1/2 weeks ago and so far so good. So everyone hang in there. It will go away- it just leaves when it's ready too, I guess. But it does give up!!!

Congrats on making it to the 6 month mark! What a wonderful gift for the holidays. I too have IBS which seems very sensitive to foods. Hopefully this will clear up for you soon as well.

Great to hear your success. My first time writing, just found the site a week ago. I've been off Vanco for 8 days now and have my fingers crossed. Best of luck.

So glad to read about your success!! I am beginning my sixth month of fighting cdiff and am still on vanco...I keep reading and re-reading your words of "it will go away" and "it does give up".. Thank you, thank you, thank you---I for one, need to hear that. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!
