Well I was diagnosed with C Diff in May 06...and also pregnant. I believe I got it from taking antibiotics for a sinus infection. I finally got diagnosed when I was having blood in my stool and going 20 times a day.

My first round of Flagyl seemed to be working...I definitely got better but about 2wks after I had a relapse.

Second round of Flagyl worked [knock on wood]. I am 51 days post C Diff. My frequency is 2-3x per day which is odd for me and my baby is doing fine....I am due in October.

The C Diff did not come back! hurray

I had a C Section on October 10th and got IV Ancef and still no C Diff. I did take acidophilus 1 week prior to my IV Ancef and for 3wks after.
