Marta from Italy

We spend a lot of time talking about the bad news in this discussion group - here's the spot for the good news. If you've had c-diff and are now well, please tell us about it here.

Marta from Italy

Postby Bobbie » Tue Jun 16, 2015 11:40 pm

Heard from Marta and she is doing better on a taper of Vanco and Xifaxin. Not quite a success story yet but better.

Thanks for the update, Bobbie! Did she relapse after she posted on Monday that she was negative for 60 days? Or is this a preventative type thing? Praying for her!

Thanks, all! Didn't mean to hijack Marta's spotlight just noticed we were the same amount of days into recovery and thought that was neat. I wish her, you all, and everyone here a c diff free future (if you haven't checked out my latest link in Media Reports about DAV-132 - a c diff prevention that would be administered with antibiotics, go do it! Very encouraging!).

Congrats Marta and Niki. A day without c diff is a day with sunshine. Keep it up.

Fruit still gives me problems too and I know people with Crohn's also have issues with it. Hope it was just a bump in the road.
