Thank you! I worried for a long time, and still check the toilet to make sure all is well. This infection is intense and I pray that everyone who gets it gets the help they need. I feel fortunate that I live in Chicago.

My great aunt was not as lucky as I was. She got the infection a couple years ago. My mom told her doctors multiple times that she thought my aunt had C. Diff and no one believed her. It took months to get the proper diagnosis. In the end, she did in fact have C. Dff, and needed to have a colostomy.

Rudey,
Glad you are well. I, too, am a free-lance writer and enjoyed your story - well done. Thanks for posting in Success Stories. This is one of our most popular forums and gives others hope.

Love the quote about illness. So true.

What do you like to write, Bobbie?

I hope that my story helps. I really turned to the stories on this board - especially the success ones - when I was battling C. Diff. It was through so many of these stories that my story with C. Diff ended.

Blinggal have you considered a fmt? It is what finally cured me after a 6 month battle with c diff. If I had to do it over again I would have had a fmt done sooner.
