5 plus months and still doing well

Postby ncmimi4 » Thu Apr 24, 2014 8:46 pm

I have not been on in a while, we spend 6 mo in Fla. and 6 in NC and between packing up and settling in I have not been on here. I am doing GREAT. I have not eaten any gluten or dairy since the FT in Dec. I had 2 problem days and the Dr. put me back on Lialda for a few months. He feels the colitis from the CD will take a while to heal. I feel fine, have no problem finding things to eat. Had stir fry with lots of veges and beef and rice tonight. Eat lots of rice cakes with smooth peanut butter. All I can say to any of you who are having problems is the advice from Bobbie and many of the experienced moderators on here to avoid all dairy is key. Also I do not use probiotics. I figure the FT put the good things in and I do not want to disturb the balance. It is so good to feel like a normal person again.
