Taking Vanco and Odor??

Since c-diff is a disease of the "lower half", so to speak, we find that many of our members cannot refrain from discussing what comes out the bottom end. If you must do it, please do it here.

Taking Vanco and Odor??

For those of you who have taken Vanco a question. I am on day 8 of Vanco (2nd round) and bowel movements are soft and tinted yellow but that doesn't necessarily worry me. What worries me is the odor. I am not sure if I am having an odor from the Vanco it self or the C Diff. When I stopped the first round of Vanco I noticed this also and it persisted but bowel movements were 1 to 2 a day only in the a.m. Had to go back on Vanco after an operation that caused the BIG D again which they found C DIFF again.
Any answers out there?? Would appreciate it.

Jan,
Many notice an odor when they have C. diff. I never did -- one of the few "pluses" of sinus problems & allergies -- but this is a common complaint & one way some know they still have it.
