Constipation with soft mushy stool?

Since c-diff is a disease of the "lower half", so to speak, we find that many of our members cannot refrain from discussing what comes out the bottom end. If you must do it, please do it here.

Constipation with soft mushy stool?

Postby Lid49 » Fri Apr 27, 2018 10:33 am

Lately I started to have problem with constipation but with soft mushy stool. Not able to pass the stool I did take a little miralax, aloe but it did not help, I remember last year starting the same way and cdiff was present along with a big inflamation on my colon. I tested 2 weeks ago negative. Can enteragam do this? I end up taking dulcolax and I had D all night.
Any input will be helpful.
Thank you

It sounds as though your dose of Enteragam may need to be adjusted or something else is going on, but not c diff. I would not take any kind of stool softener or laxative. Give your GI a call.
