Painful bm's
I am almost 8 weeks post treatment. I'm back to my old routine of going every couple days. Problem is, the day my body catches up results in painful bm's that last for hours after. I'm also light headed for the same amount. Does anyone go through something similiar or have tips/suggestions. Thanks.

I sometimes have painful bms too. Have you tried increasing your fiber intake? If the stool is too hard, it seems to aggravate an already inflamed colon, at least for me.

Along with trying to increase fiber as Beth has said, make sure you increase your fluid intake.

Have you gone to see the endocrinologist? You can get a lot of GI discomfort from thyroid issues .

Thank you everyone for your responses. I'm drinking lots of water now and adding a little more fibre. My body is not use to is so i'm careful not to overdo it. I'm scheduled to see the endocron... on Wed morning. I'm so hopeful some help for the pain i'm experiencing will come from the visit(s)
