PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST

Since c-diff is a disease of the "lower half", so to speak, we find that many of our members cannot refrain from discussing what comes out the bottom end. If you must do it, please do it here.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST

The moderators of this site are all veterans of c-diff and have spent years working with c-diff sufferers. That said, we don't really enjoy reading descriptions of other people's "poo" on the internet - do you?

Having dealt with this disease for many years, we can assure you that unless you've got the runs, fever or are bleeding profusely, the color, consistency, specs, strings, spots, mucus, etc. that you may experience do not mean a whole heck of a lot. It may be disease related, it may be medication related, it may be flora or lack thereof or it may be something you ate - but it won't really tell you or your doctor anything particularly helpful. In our experience, doctors are not interested in graphic descriptions either.

That said, we recognize that when you have a disease of the nether regions it is difficult not to obsess. Hence, we've created this section so that if people must describe, they can do it here and those who don't care to read the descriptions don't have to.

Please note: if you have blood in your stool, diarrhea or any other alarming symptom, you should always check with your doctor. We are not medical people, our members are not medical people and we are not qualified to provide you with any diagnosis.
