BM turns the toilet water brown and cloudy

Postby cody1 » Thu Nov 17, 2016 2:09 am

I'm still doing my vanco taper, I've been down to 1 pill a day for 5 days now. So far I've been doing good on one pill. My bm's have been soft but formed, sometimes pieces that form into a pile at the bottom of the toilet bowl, sometimes just a pile of mush, tonight I had a bm that was still mostly formed but the water turned all brown and cloudy, this is the first time this has happened during my taper. Is the cloudy water normal during recovery or is it something to be concerned about? I've done so well on this taper so far and would be so incredibly frustrated if I relapsed now.

Stop looking in the toilet!!!
Just worry if you are going to the toilet several times per day with runny BM.

Not looking in the toilet is the hardest habit to break.
Listen to Georgina.
If you are not in the bathroom with runny stools multiple times each day, close the lid, flush and leave.
