Good article! So if hospitals would stress to the patients the importance of washing hands properly and often, and taking showers with lots of soap while still in the hospital, and would schedule daily disinfecting of patients' rooms and bathrooms (instead of just when they check-out, if at all!), many of these re-infections could be prevented. Could it be they are ignoring the problem because it brings them repeat business? After all, aren't the insurance companies the ones footing the bill?[/i]
