Drs. Gorbach & Golden developed Lact. GG & named it after themselves; sold rights to CAG -- now marketed as Culturelle.) My son's ped. GI in Omaha is now the product rep. (small world). There is some thought that the original product was more potent, but when CAG tried to make it more "consumer friendly" (& not needing refrig)., they weakened the product.
I've taken it (at one time was on it for 2 yrs. as "compassionate usage), but it never worked for me although I understand it has for others. It's avaible at Walgreens & other "drug" stores & online. I tried to get a "deal" on it years ago for site users, but "no dice."
