Interesting article and I hope we see more of these robots, the issue is in reporting. Hoping when hospitals are randomly checked the correct number of cases come up. Once medicare starts handing our penalties we may see more of these robots. They are really the way to go....I watch staff clean even with bleach and clearly see small areas missed.
Our hospital just switched Thermometers last month which I found very interesting. We used "Sure TemP" which has a plastic cover but apparently is not doing the trick with infection control. They have moved to a disposable thermometer for every patient.
