MRSA rising in kids' ear, nose, throat infections

Postby klt03301 » Thu Jan 22, 2009 1:13 am

Nobody wants MRSA, but none of us here need it, for sure. Just saw this news today:

The author states that MRSA isn't airborne...not sure about that. I think one member here wrote about tea tree oil which is supposed to help prevent it, so I looked that up too.

Here's the hyperlink on MRSA:

Surprisingly, I found this about tea tree oil and superbugs: it's all so confusing!

I read this article too. It's funny before c-diff I would have never thought me or my family would get something like that, but unfortunately I know better now. Anything can happen I would have never thought I would have gotten c-diff either. I got nervous when I read it for Connor, and I don't quite understand why it's on the rise. How exactly do you get it I don't really understand? Is it only through a cut?

That would be a good idea Roy. I am not worried I just hate reading those articles they make me scared. I told you Roy I was a hypocondriacte before c-diff so can you imagine after c-diff LOL!

This was on 6:30 national news tonight - either ABC or NBC. SORRY, I forgot to write down which one so I could send anyone that wanted to read it or see the video to the appropriate site. So, it's either:

http://www.abc.com
or
http://www.nbc.com or theirs may be http://www.nbc/nightlynews.com
