Has anyone used this? What were your outcomes? Doctor prescribed this to me after my colonoscopy. They are still going to do labs for ibd, ibs and celiac's.

I took Questran during a really bad relapse, while I was waiting for my test result to come back, so they would give me more vanco. I only took it for 1.5 days, so I hope others will post who took it longer. It brought my D frequency down from every 10 - 30 minutes to every 1-2 hours.

I was prescribed questran early summer for IBS. I will say that it calmed my stomach down right away. But the constipation was horrible. One packet is equal to 1 tablespoon. I was only taking 1/2 tsp (1/6th the regular dosage) every other day and even that did a number on me so I had to stop. My doctor did say that I am reacting in the 'extreme' to it. I seem to over-react to meds so it is probably just me.
