The 32 yr old mother that died in March (Redfern).... What an idiot the doctor was...not only do her symptoms sound SO classic, she was in the UK where CDiff has been all over the news!! With the severity of symptoms she had, her bloodwork would have shown classic signs even if they didn't run the stool sample. Jeez.

Every time I think about her, and the poor medical care she received from her doctor, and the ER, I just almost shake with anger.

I'm not a believer in lawsuits (I believe sue-happy people and lawyers are the reason our medical costs are astronomical in the U.S.) but I DO feel they are necessary when there is gross negligence.

I hope her widower sues the pants off that doctor AND medical facility.

Ok, I feel better now. A little. :(
