Fires in CA

Several of our moderators, NancyT and beth22, live in areas in CA affected by the fires. Prayers and best wishes to them.

Thanks, hope we don't have to evacuate.

Fires are escalating. Frightening! Again, prayers and best wishes to those of you involved - especially moderators NancyT and beth22.

Patience, please, in waiting for answers to your posts..

I'm about 50 miles from the big Kincaid fire in the Wine Country north of San Francisco. Lots of spot fires on windy days, the closest one was about 10 miles away. Scary. Smoke in the air. Several friends evacuated. Power has been off for millions, some for many days, but so far I have power.
