Considerations for anal sex (yes, this is uncomfortable but please help!)

Postby habeela » Sat Aug 31, 2019 5:07 pm

Context: I am 2 years post-transplant with no recurrence of CDiff infections in that time frame.
Question: what precautions do I need to take with anal sex at this point to protect myself and my partner? I've kept anal sex off the menu for the last two years out of fear for relapse but I'm wondering if I'm being overly cautious. I want everyone to be safe and I REALLY don't want to endanger my remission in any way.

That is something that you should ask a doctor. An ID would probably be my choice since they are more in tune with transmission of disease.
