I was diagnosed with Clostridium Difficile (C-diff) back in April 2017. I was so sick. It was horrible! I searched thru the internet for answers. What the heck is C-diff!? How did I get it? What do I do now! What are my options? How dangerous is it?
Fortunately, I found the International Clostridium Difficile Support Group, with a wealth of information about C-diff; and very helpful and friendly long-time members/contributors. This website fills in all of the blanks! Learned about flagyl, and vancomycin, and dificid, and FMT, and saccharomyces boulardii, and probiotics, and relapses, and various and multiple symptoms, and options and learned from the experiences and successes and failures of others.
Most doctors aren't going to fill in the blanks, and even if they do, how much would most patients remember?
Just wanted to post how much I appreciate the efforts and contributions from this website on behalf of those who have suffered the misery of a Clostridium Difficile infection.
Best regards, Bob

Thanks so much for this post, Bob. This site also helped me significantly while I was battling and recovering from c-diff. I learned so much from the people here and it really was a huge part of my recovery. All in all, we have a great bunch of admins and posters, who are extremely considerate and want to help others to get through this God awful illness. I'm so glad you are doing well!
