Hi,
Starting to feel better...I hope I don't jinx myself !
GI thinks a low grade relapse. He gave me a comprehensive stool test kit just in case....
We may never know what triggered this....So many variables occurred...

I understand the fear Scott. Just went through D and vomiting but for other issues, my CDIFF was NEGATIVE yesterday. I am starting to believe once we have had this, although we worked through it and become CDIFF negative the gut takes time to heal and any virus, flu or GI upset seems to hit me worse than ever n the past.
If our symptoms continue, call your GI.
Hope you feel better soon

Hi,
So very sorry you are having issues NanciT....You have been such a huge help to me (and I am sure many others here).....
Get well !!!!
Last 2 days my stool is starting to normalize (if that makes any sense)....But the rumbling, urge feeling remain....
It's just like my recovery period last year.....Same sensations.....One thing that is different is the odor....Last year it smelled like cow manure (tmi alert)
Back to square one with the diet....A couple of weeks ago I posted how well I was doing...It's almost like the c diff monster was waiting for me to become confident, and then pounce....I will win...

Scott

Here is he irony. I had written to my GI two months ago and told her I was doing fantastic! Booked the trip I cancelled for two years and once again told my close friends I will be coming for that visit. Then....WHAM!!
I am back on the same slow road...bland diet...time.....all the things we tell everyone.
We WILL WIN!

Follow up yourself. Many patients "fall through the cracks."
