Postby beth22 » Thu Nov 24, 2016 1:05 pm

Wishing all of you a happy Thanksgiving. No matter what we are facing, there is always something to be thankful for, especially family and friends. Hopefully, one of these days, we will all be thankful for a cure for c diff.

Happy Thanksgiving - the enjoyment of friends and family and lots of good food to eat. I indulged! If I pay, I pay. It was worth it!!
Aloha to all,
Anne

Hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My daughter is sick with bronchitis and an ear infection, so it put a bit of a damper on the day, but we made the best of it, and still did enjoy time with family. I sure did indulge too! I'm still full! :-) I don't like turkey, but being in an Italian family, we of course have to have lasagna and a ham along with a ton of sides to go along with the turkey. And God forbid we don't have enough turkey, my mother in law makes an extra turkey breast. Not to mention the amount of appetizers and desserts. It's honestly insane! But, I love every minute of it. I hope you all enjoyed the day and took a break from the stress of life for a while.

Lisa, sorry your daughter is ill. Afraid it is virus and flu season.

I am 1/4 Italian and love Italian food.

Georgina, do you celebrate Thankgiving?

Dumb remark.

Did not think you did. Usually strictly a US holiday as part of our history.

My husband's family is of Italian background and there were 30 of us at a cousin's yesterday. It definitely is a lot of fun. Glad you were able to enjoy the time despite your daughter's illness. I didn't get to go see my mom. Her facility is still under quarantine.
