I haven't been on here in a bit and wanted to wave hello. I'm still doing ok! Afraid to write that because of superstition/PTSD. I had a second bout of c diff a year ago July.
I think of you all a lot. Lately I've been spending a lot of time on the restless legs syndrome board, which is a similar very high quality site. Unfortunately I was just diagnosed with Periodic Limb Movement Disorder of sleep. Kind of like RLS, but you do it in your sleep instead.
I found out I have this because I already knew I had sleep apnea, but I began taking off my mask in my sleep. So I had an in-lab sleep study done that determined that I am moving around a lot and waking myself up by doing that 48 times an hour, or something like that. Apparently when my legs get restless, I take off my mask. So I have been sleeping horribly on both accounts.
Anyway I'm going through the process of trying to find the right med for that.

Re: Saying Hello
Ugh so sorry that you are dealing with these other issues now. On a positive note, at least you are a year away from the awful c-diff. I hope you figure out relief for the the restless legs and sleep apnea soon.
Thanks for checking in!

Good to hear from you.
It's too bad you have run into another problem but hopefully a solution will be found.
And great news staying c diff free!!!

Hang in there.
