My son

This was filmed in Africa and shown on BBC - except in the UK - several times. Lead story. It has nothing to do with c diff.

Just a little motherly pride!

So cool. He is picking up a bit of the accent lol. At first I thought he was the host, and was amazed by how British he sounds.

Very interesting!

That's really great - I would much rather eat produce that was sprayed with natural products than with chemicals. I hope they start using this everywhere. He looks a lot like pictures I've seen of you!

Thanks, everyone, he has lived in the UK for 14 years. You would never believe he was from NE and then KS. It's "Mate, give it a go., etc" Yes', we are very proud of him.

When we visit, their friends comment on our accent. I am sure people everywhere think others "talk funny."" Does you think us from the US do, Roy?"

We can't view it in the UK!
Something to do with our TV licensing system.

When we were in Vegas a lot of Americans could not understand a single word we said, others in Arizona asked if we were Scottish!
Accents are a strange thing.
I know people who come from many countries and when they go home they get told their accent has changed.
In some countries they are even treated like an outsider because of their new accent.

Sean moved to the UK 14 years ago and has become more of a Brit than a native born citizen.

When Lily- their first born, learned to talk, my husband said with astonishment, "Lily has an English accent." When I said of course she did because her mother, British grandparents, and friends were English her grandfather said, "But her father is American!"
