Thanks, Amyc. I have tried Questran, but it was during my CDiff treatment. For now, the Hyoscyamine/Levsin, seem to be helping. Two a day with some Imodium for added "support". :) Some days I certainly get so hungry that I can't stand the bland diet anymore and go outside what I should, but then I pay for it and regret doing so. My GI NP did tell me about the FODMAP diet, I have tried to use it but certainly not strictly on it. I keep trying, that is all I can do. It is so tough! I am beginning to feel like the PI-IBS is worse then the actual Cdiff! :(

Thank you all so much for the responses. So far I have a normal celiac blood test and the pancreatic enzymes test also came back normal...
Waiting for comprehensive stool sample results still....

Anyone know if Celiac blood test shows normal that means gluten is not causing my issues or does that just mean I don't have celiac disease? WAsn't sure how to interpret that and the nurse just told me results without any explanation over the phone.

Celiac is a specific condition where your immune system reacts to gluten but you can also be intolerant to gluton without being Celiac.
Also if you had cut out gluton before the test it would come back negative.

Try a couple of Claritin. Pop 2 at the same time, then do the same the next day. It was a miracle for me, honestly. Dr Miner and Dr Afrin both believe post infectious IBS is caused by mast cell activation, and trying the Claritin for 2 days can't have any negative effect on your health.

So things have been better with levsin & imodium each day, but the M is not better. ..how long did you deal with M in recovery? Always feel like 1 step forward, 2 steps back...

I had m for many months post CDiff. I was scoped by colo-rectal specialist and he said I was fine and to try Metamucil. It worked and as I recovered the M went away. You will get well it just takes time for the gut to heal. Good luck and let us know how you do.
