DONATIONS TO SITE

You can do it here... but no profanity, naming specific names, etc. Try to be constructive. Suggestions to improve the board or discussion forums are always appreciated.

DONATIONS TO SITE

Postby Bobbie » Sat May 31, 2008 8:00 pm

Several people have asked about donations to the site. See the forum Support Our Site for instructions.

Hi Bobbie -

As I said in my other post about "no responses" ... I did email that person twice listed in "Support Our Site" forum in the last 8 weeks and never received a response from him as to how to donate using PayPal (which I already have an account from using eBay). I even copied and posted the email address both times to make sure it was right and I didn't make a typo. My email program sends me a notice if an email doesn't go through.

I'd really, really like to donate as I appreciate this site soooo much, but can't if don't know the other person's PayPal Account name, and don't receive responses to my emails.

Hi Bobbie -

Know you're really busy, but any progress with getting the PayPal account info?

Just my personal opinion, but everyone who uses this site should contribute to assure it stays up and running. I think a "Donate to Site" topic should be at the top of each forum as a "gentle" reminder.

Hi, Sandy,
Hope you are feeling better as know you've had quite a time.

I've been out of town (class reunion) & then had a friend from Charlotte here for 3 days so haven't been on the site much.

We appreciate your wanting to donate to the site, but there have been some changes in site management -- nothing to worry about; we'll update you when we can.

Hey Vike -

My very dear next door neighbors (who turned out to be friends too) from when I lived in Florida moved to Charlotte, NC. They lived on Sherwood Avenue and then moved to Ardsley Road if you know where those streets are.

Vike -

Sorry, I don't know. I've never gone to Charlotte to visit them and don't have a street map of Charlotte. I do know they were in a really, really nice area.

My friend lives in Matthews. Neat area. Love the city.
