Maybe Rosie O'Donnell Instead of Oprah

Postby dalamy » Wed Sep 27, 2006 9:06 am

Now that Rosie O'Donnell is on The View and she had a staph infection on her hand, maybe she would help us raise C. diff. awareness.

Good point. I don't care for "Rosie" but she is verbal. Can you find a way to contact her? Imagine you can contact "The View."

Just click on Email Rosie.

I don't care who helps us spread the word - but I do know that are too many people that have never even heard of C. diff. I just hope someone helps!

I'm sure once someone "famous" gets C. diff., we'll hear about it - just like the E. coli in spinach! It's too bad that's what it takes sometimes!

OK, let's try Rosie. If she has a medical problem herself, she might be more receptive than Oprah. I don't see the show, but my mother does, & evidently she is very foreright about airing her opinions.

Thanks for the info., Amy. Hope you are doing well.

Yes - I'm well - as long as I don't have to take an antibiotic that is!

Thanks to you I think I prevented a UTI back in August 2006. I had the sudden urges to "go" even after I had just "gone" all night so I took D-Mannose in the morning to prevent a UTI from becoming full blown and by golly it worked!

Thank you so much for suggesting it!

Now if I can just prevent having a sinus infection this winter! I will do the saline irrigation as soon as I get a cold!

delamy,
I "do" saline irrigation 2X a day -- even when well. Believe it's supposed to "flush out" some of the iallergans & bacteria you are exposed to when around others. It's worked for me pretty well -- knock wood!!!!!
