Praying for you, Beth, as always. You have definitely had more than your fair share and it's time for a break. Hope you get in with the doctor soon and can get some relief. Have you tried the sea bands for the nausea? Might be worth a try. They worked for me when I had a lot of nausea on Byetta for diabetes.

The strange thing about the nausea is that it is not consistent. Yesterday, I had it pretty much the whole day and today not at all until a little bit this evening after having gone out for dinner. We have my nephew staying with us for a few days that I have not seen in 23 years and I took him to see my mom, went to daughter's house, etc. It does not make any sense. My neck problems make me feel off balance sometimes and perhaps that can contribute to the nausea. I don't know. I will call the clinic tomorrow to see when they can schedule me.

I am bound and determined to go on my vacation in two weeks. It's only 6 days and I really need the rest. I'm so fed up with all of this stuff. They have meds for people who suffer from Crohn's and UC - why can't they come up with something for my symptoms? No one seems to think the pancreatic problem is connected to c diff, but I'm not the only one who wound up with it. The SIBO specialist is the only one who thinks that the toxins from c diff and the IBS could be causing it. I agree. My pancreatic enzymes were really high one time and I relapsed with c diff about a week later. I had to start on vanco and the GI wanted to see if the enzymes had normalized, so he took another blood test about a week after being on vanco and they were totally in normal range - not high normal, but completely normal, like before I ever got c diff! There has to be a connection!

I do hope you are well enough to go on that vacation!! It can really help with our Mental health through all the up's and down's through these illnesses. I just went away for 3 days and although I was not feeling 100% as my IBS came with me, I was happy just to go and get away!!
I know what you are dealing with is far more complicated but I do hope you are able to go. Have your tried the "Sea Bands" for the nausea? They have helped me so much throughout this.
I don't know of the connection between the two illnesses but you know your body I hope the doctors will listen.
Have a safe trip and enjoy!!

Beth, I share your frustration and your belief this is somehow connected to c diff. So many of us have developed strange problems after c diff. You have had such a difficult time. I hope you get to go on vacation! You made it to Alaska (or was it Canada?) a couple of years ago. You are a trooper!

NanciT - glad you went on your trip. The first time is the hardest, Know you have school starting so good time to go.
