I'm hearing you, Beth. I've had an cardiac arrest and a stroke and neither one of them has had the long term effect on my system that C. Diff has had. I'm a little over 2 years out from initial recovery, and my system is still messed up. I don't think I'll ever be able to eat some of the foods I used to, have pretty much given up even trying anything spicy (goodbye Mexican food), and am careful with everything else. I am so glad your C. Diff tests were negative. Knowing that has probably brought you some relief. I hope you will get answers and be able to solve your other health issues so you can enjoy your upcoming trip to the Big Island.
