My osteo mend. Has been denied again. Doc is supposed to appeal but appeals usually take a long time. Anyone have any ideas?.

Bobbie, thought dr. was doing an expedited appeal. If that's what's been denied, maybe ask dr. to speak to the insurance plan's pharmacist (I believe most plans have one). Could you cover the Forteo out of pocket while appeal is in progress? If you prevail with appeal, you will, I am 99 percent certain, be reimbursed retroactively.
