The wind has been crazy here in OK as well. I had to go back up to 4 Allegra a day because my bladder started freaking out...allergies causing bladder spasms? Hey, at least Allegra works, as crazy as it sounds. I do hope you find an easy answer like I did. Of course I've gained 20 pounds now that I feel better...lol. Oh well, I refuse to go on a diet.

The allergies are definitely compounding the problem. Today I feel as if I am on a ship again and my sinsues, throat and even chest are raw. The pollution is bad too. We need some rain around here. Unfortunately, antihistamines don't agree with me. I may see about getting a cortisone spray for the nose. I used to use one years ago, but with high eye pressure, I can't do it too long. UCLA doctor wants medical records before he agrees to see me and even then it is a 4 - 6 week wait, so I guess I will just have my own neurologist do the maneuver if I am not better in a few days. I will also try the supplement that was recommended - high on bioflavanoids. If I can't even tak a chewable children's vitamin, I don't think this will sit well, but you never know. At this point, I'm just really depressed and struggling to get through my days.

I'm so sorry Liz that it is still one thing after another for you. I hope at least the procedure will take away the vertigo and get that out of the way. Just want to say I always keep you in my prayers and you hang in there. I know its hard but hang on to Christ, he is your rock through all of this. Hoping things turn around soon for you, you deserve some good health after all this. Carol

So sorry, Liz. Remember, Spring is coming - and the end of school for you so more time to "heal."

Prayers and good thoughts.

Well, I made it through my work week. Yay! Still feel off balance, but I know part of it is the allergies and extra fluid. The days that I don't eat salt are better. Still no word from the UCLA specialist. To top it off, my husband was rear-ended on the freeway by some woman looking at her cell phone for navigation instructions. He was going about 55 and she was obviously going much faster. Thankfully, he is ok, but I guess he will be sore tomorrow. The car is not so ok and it is only 5 months old, but it is in the shop. My daughter and SIL went to get him as the accident happened close to where they both work, about an hour from us. I was in class. Never a dull moment.

Carol, thank you for the prayers. I keep you in mine as well and I definitely do hang on to Christ. Sometimes it is the only thing that keeps me going.

Bobbie - You're right Spring is coming, but that means more allergies for me! We've had springlike weather here for about two weeks now and everyone is stuffed up and sneezing. Right now I would actually welcome a little colder weather, but from the weather report we are going to be in the 70s and 80s all through next week.

I will try and catch up on my posting this weekend. Typing too long gets me dizzy right now.

Rest and read a good book. We have enough moderators and frequent posters to cover all the questions - weekends are usually lighter anyway.

You should have an Easter break from school soon. And then be out for the summer. Perhaps you can try the FE's at home then. I'd ask your doc. about them again.

So sorry about your husband's accident. Another stressor. And a new car!! So glad he wasn't hurt.

Rest! Feel better.
