In the October 2003 issue of Popular Science, there is an article listing the 10 worst jobs a person could have. #2 is a dysentery stool-sample analyzer. In the early '80s, two VA Tech profs studied thousands of cdiff stool samples. They became so good at it, that they launched a company called Techlab, and now make a testing kit. They had such a good humor about it that they even have their own t-shirt. On the front it shows 2 flies over two blobs of stool; one says to the other, "pardon me, is this stool taken?", and on the back: "Techlab: #1 in the #2 business!"
