Ode to C.Diff

How do I hate thee, let me count the ways
I can no longer eat the food I love
Like pizza, tacos, and ice cream bars by Dove
If I indulge in these delicious treats
My colon repays me with painful gas, D, and odious bleats

That was beautifully written Anne. I'll even add to it with a couple of more lines. (Maybe we can publish this poem ;-))
How do I hate thee, let me count the ways.
I now wash my hands obsessively, and my skin is cracked for days.
The constant fear of needing an antibiotic someday makes me worry and in distress.
That every bug that my daughter or I catch will now cause me IBS.

Great poems. And so true. Great idea, Ann and Lisa.
Here is my contribution.
C diff is a pain
In the ass and the brain.
Let me count the ways
It has ruined my days.
A day of health and gains,
Next day cramps and pains.
Never know what you will do
To send me quickly to the loo.
