I love this, and, unfortuantely, it is sometimes true.

My doctor (the GP) MUST be God (he drives a Porsche Boxster and that is close to Heaven isn't it?)... THINKS he is God (makes decisions that affect me but I have no say in whether I want it or not) WANTS to be God (won't call in a specialist even if it means I suffer less severly or for shorter periods of time, just because he is SURE he knows it all).

This tickled my funny bone. Unfortunately though you are right, it is too often true!
