Actual support group

I've been living with this miserable illness for 7 months on and off. Just finished my last pulse and taper of 8 weeks this passed Friday! On antispasmodics for intestinal pain/discomfort/spasms. Wish there was a live support group to go to. Sometimes "in person" is a little more helpful than an online blog. Not saying this is not helpful, but would like to see faces/people. I live in New York City

Hi Pdrs - Welcome to the site. You have posted this in the "humor" section. Not sure that is what you meant to do. I have heard of groups where you can call in with questions. Go online and see if you can find that. Otherwise, maybe someone else will see your post who is familiar with those sites. Wishing you well.

That would be an interesting meeting!
Hope they have a VERY large bathroom.
Not sure what you would get from it though, other than exposed to other people with multiple strains of c.diff that could potentialy reinfect each other.

Maybe a support group using Skype or Go to Meeting. A Virtual group while being at home or any location without the risk sharing the beast.

I've gotten in contact with a few posters here in my area on social media. Even one that we talk quit often and live in the same town. It's possible!
